Breast Sagging
A common breast concern is breast sagging (also called breast ptosis). Breast sagging occurs over time and can be influenced by many factors, including aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding and weight fluctuation. It will not go away on its own.
However, a popular procedure called mastopexy, or breast lift, can help patients regain perkier breasts.
There are three types of breast lift procedures that patients can consider if they are contemplating a breast lift: Benelli mastopexy (donut lift), limited scar mastopexy (lollipop), and vertical mastopexy (with or without implants).
While a breast lift can address breast position, it may not help with breast fullness. Sometimes it is possible to combine a breast lift with a breast implant.
The Benelli mastopexy is often the preferred technique for qualifying patients because of the minimal scarring. The vertical mastopexy can result in a significantly improved breast shape and position, especially when used in conjunction with a breast implant.

Breast Shape and/or Size
Another common breast concern is breast shape and/or size. Some patients are not satisfied with their breast size. Other patients may find that their breast shape and/or size has changed due to age, pregnancy and nursing.
A breast augmentation procedure can help patients achieve breasts that are their desired shape and size. During a breast augmentation procedure, implants are surgically placed in the breasts to increase breast size and enhance breast shape.
The size and shape of the breasts are personalized to fit the patient. Dr. Hause offers three different types of implants: saline, silicone, and the IDEAL IMPLANT, which combines the benefits of both saline and silicone. He also offers three options for breast implant incision placement: transaxillary (in the armpit), inframammary (underneath the breast fold), and periareolar (around the nipple).
